Full-time positions are available for bachelor’s level therapists working with the severely and persistently mentally ill. Responsibilities include ongoing development of patient treatment plans, evaluating and assisting individuals with attaining their highest level of functioning and maximizing their independence through coaching, motivating, reminding, problem solving, providing assistance with accessing needed services, etc. Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or sociology required. Applicant’s must qualify for Southwestern’s vehicle liability coverage and have a valid operator’s driver’s license.
Part-time position available to work 2 days per week plus fill in for absences. Primary responsibilities are cooking and preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner for residents up to approximately 30 people. Other duties include assisting in the cleaning responsibilities for the kitchen and dining areas. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidates will be required to submit to a criminal history check and drug screen test.
A full-time position is currently available for a coordinator of addiction services at our Stepping Stone Addictions Treatment facility. Position consists of supervision of the clinical staff and program content, ensuring staffing coverage for outpatient, residential and detox programs, performing assessments, and coordinating admissions into detox/residential services. Individual must possess a Masters degree in Social Work with or working towards an LCSW. Must have knowledge of relevant clinical issues, 12 -step programs and demonstrated managerial experience. Applicant must also qualify for Southwestern's vehicle liability coverage and have a valid operator's driver's license.
A full-time position to serve as the Safe Place Coordinator for Hillcrest Washington Youth Home, Inc. is currently available. Responsibilities include implementation of the Safe Place program and outreach services of the agency. Will work with businesses participating as outreach sites, respond to calls and provide initial case management services for youth in crisis, including transporting youth to shelters when appropriate. On a rotating basis, will serve on 24-hour call for emergencies. Must be able to flex schedule to meet needs of youth and provide community outreach. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field such as psychology, social work or education with one year of experience in coordinating community services. Must have excellent verbal, written and organizational communication skills and maintain a valid driver’s license. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience working with a youth-serving agency. Candidates will be required to submit to a criminal history check.
A full-time experienced secretary position is available to work primarily in our Addictions program. Previous experience working in a medical office is required. Electronic medical records experience preferred. Duties include answering the phone, scheduling patient appointments, greeting visitors and general secretarial duties. Will work as a team with other support staff. Applicants must be able to keyboard 55 WPM minimum, be proficient in operating a personal computer and possess excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
A Full-time 2nd shift position and a part-time 3rd shift position are currently available at Stepping Stone, our Addictions Services program. Mental health technicians assist patients who have addictions in our residential and halfway house program. Responsibilities include taking inquiries, completing the necessary paperwork for admissions, maintaining charts, and writing discharges. MHT’s will also co-facilitate groups and educational classes with therapist. Familiarity with 12-step program is helpful but not required. Applicant must be 21 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent. Applicant must also qualify for Southwestern’s vehicle liability coverage and have a valid operator’s driver’s license.
A full-time and several part-time (2nd & 3rd shift) mental health technician positions are available to work in our group homes with patient residents. We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents. Applicants must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma or GED. Applicants must also qualify for Southwestern’s vehicle liability coverage and have a valid operator’s driver’s license.
A full time position is available at our West Side Office for a therapist to work in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include providing individual, family, and group therapy to children and adults. Position also provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment services to assigned outpatient populations to insure the delivery of excellent patient care. Must hold a Masters in Social Work and prefer licensed LCSW or must become licensed within six (6) months of eligibility.
A full time position is available for a therapist at Stepping Stone in our outpatient program. This position provides outpatient services to adults and adolescents with the primary diagnosis of addiction, including diagnostic assessments, individual, group, marital and family psychotherapy, and emergency crisis intervention services. Knowledge and experience with co-occurring disorders is preferred. Must hold a Masters in Social Work and prefer licensed LCSW or must become licensed within six (6) months of eligibility.
Full and part-time positions available. Must be flexible to work a variety of 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends. Responsibilities include supervision and direction of the residents in a residential youth care facility. Will serve as a role model for youth and document daily residential progress. Child supervision at summer camps or church groups is helpful. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid operator’s license. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidates will be required to submit to a criminal history check.
