Transitional Residential Programs

Our residential programs provide structured programming utilizing the best evidence-based practices while clients stay in a safe, supportive environment.  We have two levels, ASAM 3.5 and ASAM 3.1, of residential programs, each of which are certified through the Division of Mental Health and Addiction.

Stepping Stone Residential is a ASAM 3.5 clinically managed high intensity co-ed residential program with 32 beds.  Clients in Stepping Stone Residential typically stay for 3-4 weeks and attend programming from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  Services include group, individual and family therapy, case management, skills training, psychoeducational classes and peer recovery services.  We also offer an introduction to self-help groups that are available in our community.

Our Stepping Forward for Women (SFW) and Stepping Forward for Men (SFM) programs are ASAM 3.1 clinically managed low intensity residential programs.  We have 10 beds for women and 12 beds for men at separate locations.  These structured three phase programs provide 24-hour support and treatment to include group, individual and family therapy, case management, skills training, psychoeducational classes and peer recovery services.  Priority admission is given to pregnant women and they can stay during their pregnancy and after the birth of their child.  We ask that clients commit to 90 days in this program.  Clients may stay up to 6-12 months—depending on demonstrated need—with the goal of eventual transition to independent living in the community.  Our Stepping Forward programs are Level IV certified Recovery Residences by the Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences.

Our Chandler Home is a ASAM 3.1 clinically managed low intensity residential program geared at clients with co-occurring disorders.  Chandler Home has 10 beds for men.  This is a structured three phase program that provides 24-hour support and treatment.  Services are directed not only at the co-occurring issues, but at the broad array of other areas of functioning that are frequently impaired in clients with co-occurring disorders.  We ask that clients commit to 90 days in this program.  Clients may stay up to 6-12 months—depending on demonstrated need—with the goal of eventual transition to independent living in the community.  Our Chandler Home is a Level IV certified Recovery Residence by the Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences.
