Our crisis line is answered by local staff who live and work in Gibson, Posey, Warrick, and Vanderburgh counties.

It is available 24/7, every day of the year to anyone experiencing a crisis - whatever that means for you.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, worthless, or in despair, or if you’re worried about the
mental health of a loved one, we are here to help.

Crisis Line Services

Our crisis line connects individuals with staff who can assist with support, coping skills, and links to resources. Translation services are available, as needed.

Mobile Response

Our Mobile Crisis Team is here to provide compassionate support during times of mental health concerns, substance use challenges, or emotional distress. When a crisis cannot be resolved over the phone, we dispatch a mobile response team to deliver on‑site assistance.

This team includes two professionals:

  • Peer Professional– someone with lived experience of mental health or substance use, either personally or through a family member.

  • Crisis Responder – a trained professional who can work alongside the Peer Professional to stabilize the situation.

If necessary, our team may also co‑respond with local law enforcement to ensure safety and provide the most effective support possible.

Receiving and Stabilization Unit
The Crisis Receiving and Stabilization Unit is a voluntary, unlocked safe space for adults 18 and older, where visitors can spend up to 23 hours deciding their next best step and receive assistance getting there. When a visitor or their family arrive, we work to provide immediate help and continued follow up to ensure that the crisis is appropriately addressed and that their outcome is moving in the intended direction towards stabilization and recovery.
