Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare has partnered with local schools to bring mental health services to kids. Through early detection and response to mental illness, referral for treatment, promote student skills in dealing with bullying and conflicts, solving problems, developing healthy peer relationships and engaging in activities to prevent suicide and substance use.

By providing school based mental health services to local students we have improved absenteeism and discipline rates, increased the rates of high school graduation, and helped create a positive school environment in which a student can learn and be successful.
